The tumor of bronchial adenoma is removed through surgery like open lung surgery, bronchoscopic surgery, VATS (video-assisted thoracic surgery) etc. The bronchoscopic surgery is performed in the case if the tumor is small in size and has not spread in other body’s organs. It is important to disclose the fact that even through the surgery, the tumor does not get removed completely. Hence, the surgery is recommended only for those people who are not in the position to undertake VATS or open lung surgery. |
